This wonderful rocking horse, was carved by the world renowned Stevenson Brothers and made in 1996. He came to me in good but slightly tired condition and I thought he would be perfect to have some fun with.
 
I was inspired by the old paintings of Spanish Spotted Saddle Horses, and absolutely loved painting him. I decided to give this one modern tack. So, in collaboration with Master Saddler Emily White, he has brown English leather, removable bridle and fixed saddle, with brass metalwork.
 
He is a 4’ Large horse, measuring 48” (122 cm) to the highest point, with approximately 3’ (90cm) to the saddle heights. Her stand is 56” (142cm) long by 18” (46 cm) wide. Plenty strong enough for an adult to sit on.
