The second piece in my “Judgement of Animals “ series
This painting explores the judgement people place on foxes, a nuisance, or even a demon, that will kill newborn lambs an even an entire flock of chickens in one go? Or a beautiful native creature, doing what it can to survive in an ever changing environment?
I believe foxes are wonderful survivors, who are opportunistic. They are highly intelligent and not bound to human laws. I have seen dogs create exactly the same devastation to livestock, it is instinct to chase and kill, but at least the fox, given enough time, will eat it’s prey.
A mixed media piece with a slightly metalic gold acyrylic background, whilst the actual content of the pice iis completed in oil paints. It has been left to fully dry and is now ready to varnish before it goes to a new home.
It is framed and ready to hang measuring a total of 23" x 33" (58.5 cm x 84 cm). The actual artwork measures 20" x 30" (51 cm x 76 cm). Please let me know if you would prefer to buy this piece unframed and I will arange a discount
I will be doing a second painting, on the judgement of the fox, so watch this space!
