This is a truly beautiful little horse.Carved by David Postin in around t 70’s/80’s he came to me in actuality pretty good condition. I couldn’t decide whether to just give him a quick spruce up, or go the whole hog.There were a few bits of finishing I personally wasn’t happy with and after getting some advice from a very well respected, rocking horse expert. I decided to go for it!He’s such a cheeky chap, with bags of character. A long flowing mane, just looked like a wig on him, so I decided to be even more controversial and pull his mane. But I think it really makes him look smart.His tack is all leather, which I made from scratch.I have preserved David Postin’s signature on his belly as I wanted to make sure his carver was recognised.
